Like us, they are only 17 field goals away from being undefeated.

Let's see, Ellington has a 4-month recovery which means

he might be able to do something at the end of Spring practice. They delayed the surgery for a month and a half so he could play three plays vs South Carolina. If they had gone ahead with the surgery as soon as they knew he would have to have it, he could have participated in all of Spring practice. No crystal ball required. They knew he needed the surgery and they knew the recovery time. THey also knew he couldn't play again during the season. Wow, it is this kind of logic from this staff that has this team with 11 to 13 scholarship walk-ons.
And I guess if there is no pushing Napier off on anyone, Clemson just keeps him and deals with the fact that he is offensive coordinator? Two weeks and two days later, none of this sounds any better.

He did that early this season, but our oh so wise offensive brain trust decided that he should split time with Twinkle Toes Harper....

- The goal is to have all game plans finished and installed before the team leaves for Charlotte.
Seriously? This has to be addressed? Maybe that's been the issue this year. We only had one series of game plans put together (Auburn). So I guess that is great news that they plan to finish one and actually 'install' it. We'll see... (run outside, run inside, pass... er, roll right)
- Swinney on USF: "They are a good football team. They are very similar to us in a lot of regards if you just study them on paper. Defensively that's their strength and that's our strength. Both offenses have had their moments and had their struggles."
If they're a good football team, they're not very similar to us. We are NOT a good football team. 6-6 = good football team? He can take the blame when everyone's pi$$ed off immediately after a loss for PR, but looks like it doesn't go any deeper than that. I guess in the age of everyone gets a participation trophy bowl game, every team is 'good'. Don't focus so much on those results.
And when were our offense's moments? Seems like maybe a moment or two a game, the rest is struggles. I didn't even think the N Texas and PC games were 'moments' worth commenting on. Maybe he means Brown's 72 yarder at UNC or something. LOL!
So pumpers unite! Defend your leader, point out the fact that I'm dissecting his every word looking for something wrong... OR...
Maybe try something different and explain one of these game plans that we've had this year. You know, how we were able to learn from film, and take advantage of a defense's weakness. For extra credit, let me know about some great adjustments we made when we realized that game plan sucked...
PS Napier will be a head coach some day!
