ACC vs. SEC last 5 years

Jul 30, 2018, 8:55 AM

Believe it or not the ACC actually has a one game advantage but never seems to be included in the "best conference" discussion. They just had a segment on ESPN and it was all B1G and SEC.

I find it hard to believe that the ACC...

only has a one game advantage.

What do you mean?

Everyone knows the SEC is Bama, then 11 scrub teams

Jul 30, 2018, 9:52 AM

While the ACC is Clemson, FSU, and Syracuse

So it's hard to believe the ACC only has 1 game advantage.

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

Most people only look at the elite teams on top when judging

a conference. The ACC is going to be really, really deep this year with lots of solid teams, but Clemson is likely to be the only really good team. SEC has Bama, Georgia, and probably Auburn. B1G has OSU, PSU, Wisconsin, and maybe the Michigan schools.

The ACC is destined to be underrated by most people this year.

Have you noticed how big 10 teams perform in big bowl games lately?

depends on what criteria you're using but since the year 2000.....12 nattys for the SEC and only 3 for the ACC.

And none for Georgia***

The year 2000? How is that the cutoff? Most players who played on those teams would have retired from the NFL by now?

If you look at the overall history the SEC wins hands down....but RIGHT NOW and in recent history it has been pretty close. Some of those teams that won titles for the SEC are irrelevant on the national scene right now.

Yeah 8 or 9 of those were "awarded" to SEC teams after playing either each other (Al vs. LSU) or patsies like Notre Dame. That's the criteria I'm using ..... of course none of those are your team ....lol
