http://sportstalksc.com/index.php/2014/02/06/there-will-be-a-lot-of-acc-baseball-on-espn-this-season-and-not-much-of-the-sec/

"Clemson will be part of an ESPN broadcast 15 times. As we pointed out in a post earlier, USC will be on ESPN’s family of networks three times next season."

Nice work, ACC.

most of the ACC games are on ESPN3, which isn't a channel and part of the tier 3 rights. ESPN doesn't own the SEC's tier 3 rights. i believe the SEC put those games on Sportsport and FoxSports. but next year, they roll into the SEC Network.

Ah. Yeah, I see it now. Tons of ACC games on ESPN3.

Still good but not the homerun (no pun intended) I thought it was when I first read it. As a matter of fact:

Number of games on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU:

ACC: 8
SEC: 19

ESPN3 is nice for the person who is already a fan, but not great for developing and growing the fan base.

ESPN3 and Online content are beginning to put together significant numbers. Now when they talk about TV ratings for ESPN they are starting to talk about how many online visitors watched from WatchESPN and ESPN3 too.

It counts...

Certainly the direction it's going. Good point. ******
