And so it begins: ESPN has gone to battle with Verizon Fios... per a letter Verizon Fios sent to its customers: "Disney is currently proposing that Verizon pay hundreds of millions of dollars more for its programming... In addition to the proposed rate increase, Disney is also demanding we include, and pay for, another regional sports channel, the ACC Network..."

Sounds like ESPN is definitely pushing the ACC Network.

So according to the map VT, UVA, Pitt, BC and Syracuse fans need to be putting gas in their fax machines right now. VT and Syracuse seem like the only reliable ones in the bunch, unfortunately.

All fans of ACC teams who live in NYC need to make a phone call too.
