UGA did prepare for him, Kirby said so himself. Tua is the real deal, you can deflect all you want but he's about 2000 miles better than Hurts.

attempted 53 passes prior to the championship game. I'm sure UGA's staff was well versed in his abilities and his style of play. As for individual plays, they can all of that by scouting Alabama regardless of who's at QB.
Anyway, from what I've seen of Tua he's just one of those guys that's special. Teams can prepare for him all they want but he has close to Deshaun Watson level elusiveness in the pocket and seems to have an even stronger arm and better accuracy. I'm curious to see how he plays going forward but if he maintains the level of play I've seen in the UGA and Louisville games he's going to win the Heisman this year.

I think he’s good, but there’s just not been any game film on him to amount to anything for teams to have ligit preparation for the passing packages he runs. The Alabama running game is stellar & can make any QB’s job easier, so there’s that. Also, he holds the ball at times if his first read isn’t there & as bad as Louisville’s Dline is they still got to him some last night. He’s definitely better than Hurts throwing the ball, but I’m curious to see what happens as there’s more film on him.
