A lot of similarities between this loss and the Pitt loss

Oct 14, 2017, 2:25 PM

I predict we finish as a 12-1 ACC champion before entering the playoff just like last year. And that should surprise no one.

No there isn't...we shot ourselves in the foot vs Pitt, we

Pitt was more a result of ref shadiness. Syracuse beat us fair and square. Can't blame the bad calls, although there were a few.

SIX 3rd down conversions on sketchy penalties is y Pitt won

4 of those would have been punts.

It bugs me that no one in the press will remember or care about that.
Sadly, shady officiating could have cost us everything.

Pitt was a shootout with bad officials.

Last year vs Pitt it was the shovel pass over & over that kept the defense off balance. Last night it was tempo and sloppy tackling. The offense did nothing to help keep the defense off the field. Two missed field goals. I hate to even think this, much less type it here, but I think the offensive game plan was terrible as far as helping an injured QB who depends so much on his legs. That being said I had aspirations of being a college football coach and would've been #### good at my job, but I bombed in college & didn't finish because of my own stupid decisions. The guys on our coaching staff put in the work and made it to where they are, so I'm really not in any position to question them.

As I recall DW4 set an ACC record in that game...

...didn't see us shattering any offense records last night. Agree that the defense wasn't so hot last night but probably worse against Pitt.

Differences - Syracuse is in our division. Syracuse has not beaten Penn State or no else for that matter of consequence.
