A game called Russian Roulette - Wednesday Thoughts

Last night around 9pm, I was very relieved to hear that the Big12 was moving forward with football.
That’s three of the five major conferences unanimously moving forward. Then the thought occurred to me. (The medias direction of the topic is turning political) Red vs Blue. I don’t see it like that. The BIG10 and PAC12 are playing it safe. Safe from what? Lawsuits. Not safe from the virus but years of court battles. While the southern conferences, move forward with football they look at a bigger picture. Students want to play and the doctors approve. (For now). There is a vaccine Russia has approved of and will start mass distribution in the coming weeks. Like them the southern states want to move on from this. (I myself want too as well). There are so many factors regionally. The attitude of our part of the world. We are risk takers. We learn as we go. You never know till you try it. Don’t be afraid of everything. You have a god given liberty to do what you want. There is a line of being too safe and not taking a chance. But the difference is: beliefs and regional economics. Play Ball!

The Russian vaccine is a Putin long shot to save his ###. He mismanaged the virus and his economy is a massive dumpster fire. Putin needs a win and this is the equivalent of "It will just disappear."
I think that we could play football if the teams are in a bubble. The problem is will their families, girlfriends and friends stay safe and avoid infecting them.
The nightmare scenario is a middle linebacker sneaking off to see his girlfriend, not testing positive before a game and then spreading it to everyone he tackles.
