A first in death valley......

The gentlemen behind me asked me to sit down on a big third down. Never had that happen to me before. He wasn't handicapped from what I could tell. I was slightly disgusted and slightly shocked.

You shouldn't be. He paid to see the game. If you know you are blocking someone behind you, then you should sit down!!!! In addition, some may not be able to stand for long periods.

sit at home and watch the game in comfort drinking zimas.

home field advantage doesn't come from sitting

I understand if the person behind you is elderly or disabled or if you stood for the entirety of the game, but on a key third down it should practically be required for people to stand up if they are able.

Next thing you know the people around you will be telling you to quiet down on a key third down.

I made a point to sit when it wasn't a big moment but I saw him standing at the end of the game for those defensive games. I'll sit more than usual if asked but not on big plays.

so he's in front of me, but I come to a game to yell loud and see the game. I'd bet the people in front of the poster where standing too.

and support the team like everyone else around him.

It's pronounced "L Heff A" and it means "The Boss".

If people in front of you are standing, he should've never asked.

...on 3rd down in a close game...no way. This is football, not musical theater.

My sophomore year we were in the top row of the lower deck in front of the box seats and were threatened with eviction from the stadium if we stood up and blocked their view. Couldn't believe it!

If problems persists go to CUAD and explain situation and ask to change seats.

If there is a seat, you should sit...maybe charge you a premium for a stand...lot of buttholes who think they are good guys, but are in fact aceholes...

I sit. But when the defense is asking for the crowd to get pumped up......I just can't resist. Poster above made a good recommendation to just switch next time
