During the time of the 5 year drought to the coots I had a mouthy employee that loved the coots and proudly proclaimed that his generation would dominate the series over Clemson.
I ran into him at the mall last weekend and asked him how his generation was doing these days. He didn't have a whole lot to say about the #####. He didn't even have his colors on that day.
This game needs to be a real beating the likes of which we won't see again until this time next year!
#6 in a row needs to be a lasting memory just like 63-17 and 56-7.

One of my nieces husband,a gamecock grad, said that they might never lose to Clemson again. Not a lot of conservation at recent family reunions.

Had a great time at that game. Thought for a moment our students were going to swarm their field after the game. Had the security guards and police very nervous. lol

Mine too! I was there as guest of some gamecocks. Even after SC got their butts kicked the gamecock fans were just as nice and shared food from 3 or 4 tailgate parties.
The defense spent as much time in the backfield as the QB and RB’s.
Great game. Gamecock fans had class back in those days.
