I like him. I think he has done as well as any coach could do in our situation. Duke and UNC are very hard to recruit against. Clemson has too much class to bring in the "one and done" athletes. We have had sub-standard facilities, that problem is now being corrected.

But in 6 years Brownell hasn't accomplished anything. Yes we won 5 straight in the ACC. And I'm pretty sure we had a similar run last year before it all hit the fan.
I want Brownell to succeed, I don't wanna see anyone lose their job. But if we don't make the tournament this year we should be looking for change.
And I've seen what this team can do with sub par facilities. Oliver Purnell did a great job with what he had.
Our rebounding has been atrocious with Brownell. He literally pulls everyone off after a miss shot.

but clemson did not have a similar run last year.
i'm aware of only one time in clemson history, the men's varsity basketball team has defeated 3 ranked teams in a row.
it's been a really nice run.

starting team under Brownell. However, this team seems to have the highest ceiling of any of the ones he's put on the court with an above average recruiting class/transfer coming in.

Glad you have been quiet during the trending upward and better play of this team.
The rebounding is often tonset the defense as Clemson plays very good possession D and makes teams work harder for each point.
Last night Jaron had not consistent offensive hell from Dante, Holmes, Roper and Gabe. 3 starters and 1 key sub. Take away two boneheaded plays in last 3 minutes.. Gabe's 3 and not getting back ... So wide open layup. And pressing up inbounds and giving up the kids open layup.
Take those away and it is one possession game on road vs ranked team
