They're not even done. Bama could realistically and probably wind up closing with like 4-5 more top 50 guys. It's just insane this cycle.
Hill had a little bit of interest in Clemson early but it never seemed like we really pursued, no idea why. Never seemed very interest in Hellams either, but Bama is just ruthless.

We'll have to see how 2020 goes before I'd say we're on their heels from a recruiting standpoint. We've gotten outworked for some guys over the past couple of classes, which shouldn't happen.

If we can pull in DJ before the spring is done, which seems plausible if not probably (fingers crossed) that would give us a huge chip for building momentum and pulling in other top guys and help us reach more nationally. It would be awesome if we could get some real looks from guys like Kelee Ringo and Justin Flowe (although we seem to be well positioned for Sampah and I can't imagine we'd ever get both), and maybe break into the DMV area in a big way.

It depends who's left unsigned. There are usually late bloomers as far as OL prospects go so maybe we can close there a little better than one might have thought but there aren't going to be a ton of talented guys out there.

You know our coaches look at more than just talent, you don’t have to have nearly the smarts to go to Bama. It’s like Coot college, all you need is desire to attend. Then there are attitude requirements and the like. We may not be #1 a few years from now but consistently performing in the top 5/10 even in down years is acceptable to me as long as we are doing it the right way.
