Very informative interview. Goes behind the scenes and explains how and what he expects as a.Head Coach, and the methods he uses to develop players and leaders on the team. I think it kind of opened my thoughts a little bit more and I understand some of his methods he uses. Good job Dabo and GO TIGERS !!!

Mickey Plyler said on air that Dabo got it from him

also that ESPN got the "come on, Man" from him.
He must be a marketing half-genius. He'd be a whole genius if he TM or copywrited it.

I remember that press conference. I remember tuning in on

Dec 23, 2014, 9:48 PM

the internet, because I really had no idea who Dabo was at that time. The way I remember it he made a comment about being "all in". That did not illicit much of a response, so he followed it up by saying it was like those TV poker shows, he was "all in". Said he loved those shows. What I remember most is that this guy was very genuine and extremely "comfortable in his own skin". I had no idea what kind of coach he would be, but you couldn't help but like the guy.

Love to see that presser again to see if I am remembering correctly.

I also remember some reporter later writing that "the the first coach to make a successful transition from wide receiver coach to head coach - would be the next one" ( to do it). In other words, Dabo had no chance.

He really has done a pretty remarkable job.

Even David Hood wrote an article saying Dabo had no chance.

Lol. I knew from the first time I heard him that he had all the intangibles. Only question was could he pull it all together. I'm so glad he did.
