Sad for Bama

But great for our recruiting.

I'm embarrassed for Alabama

Can you imagine being on national television and crapping your pants? And they were wearing their white pants too!

I doubt they ask how many TV’s were tuned I, instead o, “ what did you watch at that hour”. I don’t know how they measure it thy.

Wouldn't that number double if it was on ABC vs cable?

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It definitely wouldn't double. I would imagine that most

Jan 9, 2019, 9:09 AM

people that want to watch the CFB title game have access to ESPN. I'm sure there would be some modest gains in viewership if it were on ABC, but the TV execs aren't idiots so I'm sure they have a good reason for doing it the way they do.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I heard it was the least watched national title game since

the 2012 (2011 season) rematch of Bama/LSU. I'm sure the blowout had a good bit to do with that, but i don't think this was a very good year for CFP ratings, or CFB really as a whole.
