2020 Football Scholarship Openings

I read a few weeks back that the Tigers had about 20 or so openings for the 2020 class. Did this number include the following openings: the one gained from Shaq Smith transferring to Maryland, the apparent inevitable transfer of Feaster and Zach Giella being officially off the Tiger roster. TIA

Giella and Feaster don’t matter for your count

2019 would’ve been their last year of eligibility regardless so they would already count as open spots for 2020. Shaq Smith leaving would be the only one that would add another spot for the 2020 class.

Got it, thanks. I guess Dabo and the coaches choose to they can give the the scholarships to current walk ons to get the numbers back up to 85 in the fall.

I think they will take about 22/23 but if some of the "oversign" guys go elsewhere it could be 20/21.
