Love this game. This is the one that we sat next to Matt Mllen at lunch and he told us that he had been to practice. CU didn’t have a chance!

I'd like to formally apologize to Tajh Boyd. I just rewatched the Ohio State vs Clemson Orange Bowl game in which Clemson claimed our first BCS bowl game win.

For too long when I've recalled that game, I tended to focus on the outstanding play of our defense late, the great play of Sammy Watkins and the boneheaded play by Tajh late in the game when he threw an interception giving Ohio State a chance to win the game in the last 90 seconds.

What I haven't thought enough about is the overall great game Boyd had. He set the tone for the game by rushing nearly 50 yards for our opening TD to set the tone for the game. He also had a simply terrific long long pass to Watkins for our second TD early in the first half. He then followed that up with two killer fade passes to Martavis Bryant for critical got to have TDs. Boyd was also on the throwing end of the game of Sammy Watkins career when Sammy caught 16 balls for well over 200 yards.
Boyd accounted for 6 TDs and almost 500 yards of offense against the Buckeyes who came into the game at 12-1.

Tajh Boyd, you were a great Clemson QB. You won the critical turn the corner game against LSU with an amazing 4th and 16 pass and you personally beat TOSU for our first BCS Bowl Game win. You started Clemson on the current great run we are still enjoyed. Loveya Tajh. Thanks a million.
