There is not one school on the schedule that we should be scared of, other than Virginia Tech. Even though we have a new offensive line and a new quarterback. If we can get past FSU on opening night, the schedule shapes up nicely for us to make a run, and the only school that we may not be favored over is Va. Tech.

If October 6th and October 20th flip flopped,it would be...

very beneficial. I hate GT and VT back to back again. An open date before VT would have been sweet.

Dump the turkeys, schedule ACC teams, let the children play amongst themselves. There are 12 games and 12 members. Or grow some and play the big boys. Also, i find it amusing to have the censor wiggle out #### and then throw a commercial spot with a girl bent over with her hooooooters and asprin box hanging out. Get a life,BAPTIST.

Remember what happened last year when we only had 1 open date. They r football players not supermen. Give em a break(or at least more than 1 week)!!!

The Tigers defense is stacked with talent coming back this year. Merling, Sapp, and Cumbie on the ends. Scott and Mckissic clogging the middle. A stable of linebackers that nobody really gives any credit to when they absolutely deserve it. And Butler, Clemmons, Hamlin, and Chancellor in the secondary. If we can just find a way to score 21 to 28 points every game, the defense WILL get us to a Championship game. Willy, Willy, Willy!!

We don't give the linebackers any credit because they can't tackle.
We missed Waters and Bille very badly last year. We probably win one or two more games if they play. USC and Maryland would not have been able to run on us but I see your points about the rest of the defense.
Just need to sort out the offense and the red zone problems and things will be just fine.

I agree with you guys in that are defense will be reliable, but is anyone else as terrified as myself about the state of our offensive line?

I think the "zone blocking" thing really helps in the matter of being a little undersized. I think we need to wonder are these guys smart enough to learn it and tweek it. Plus, we got a lot of guys in blowout games this past year which, I don't care if you are playing LA Tech, is invaluable for this coming year. There was a lot of subbing going on this past year so I think as far as experience we're in the moderate range.
