actions impact the whole team and they need to be above par. They need to be responsible in and of their actions and understand they have consequences of their actions. 1st half and complete all other requirements set by Dabo.

Sounds like all of the other requirements of his punishment since the incident until camp starts is progressing well and if so there would be a minimal amount of playing time lost.

I have a 13 year old boy that loves those Tigers. He loves the players of the football team and all of the other sports, the mascots, cheerleaders, band and all of the students current and old (alumni). He loves THE University of the state of South Carolina and all that Clemson is. He looks up to the football players and what they can do.

They are role models for kids. Like it or not, they are whether they want to be or not. Maybe they are not role models for what should be important to every kid such as playing football over all else, but they are a role model for the core of their mores and ethics.

They are role models in that they are dedicated in their gifts as an individual and show that it is important to continue to grow and learn. They are role models to kids in that being successful and recognized on a grande scale for their success does not mean that there is different treatment when you make mistakes.

If there was no punishment regarding football, then that would teach kids that all they need to do is play football or another sport really well and be the best and then you won't have any substantial or normal punishment for mistakes.

If someone makes a mistake, then they usually have whatever punishment that happens by the authorities and some sort of punishment from their employer or on another personal level.

I agree with stern but fair. Have rules and explain them up front. Fore warned is fair warned.
