Yes they will jump us in the short term. We will jump them again after the ACC championship game.

If Texas A&M only dropped from 4 to 8 to stay ahead of Auburn after losing to an awful Miss St team

Nov 13, 2016, 12:46 AM

then Clemson will not drop below Louisville.

I agree, LOU will not hop us because of schedule strength. However, my thoughts are: 2& 3 spots get thrown around maybe. Now, Either Michigan or Ohio State get's eliminated at some point in time. From what I've seen so far- as far as complete teams, it's Ohio St. moving up. IMO - Clemson didn't show today that they are not an "entire Team" like Michigan and Wash did. So edge goes to Clemson in shootout with high point percentage, with ACC records in books for 2 players. It's the score that determines the outcome, some scores show that teams can still hang until the last minute while putting up 40+ points, the only one of them today that lost was Clemson. It will all be factored in.

Re: 1-Bama, 2-OhioSt, 3-Lou, 4-Clem?

Nov 13, 2016, 12:45 AM

So I looked up the CFB Playoff committee criteria and it is as follows:
-championships won
-SoS
-Head to head
-comparative outcomes vs common opponents

With that in mind, right now they can't apply the championships won category (obviously too early)...The strength of schedule helps Clemson as well as the head to head over Louisville. The comparative outcome might hurt us some vs Louisville (ie their wins over FSU, NC State, etc) but the SOS and H2H helps a lot. I think it'll go: Bama, OSU, Clemson, Louisville, Michigan this week.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

probably Bama 1 OSU 2 Clemson 3

Nov 13, 2016, 12:48 AM

Maybe L'VILLE 4? Idk. We beat them, so those ####### shouldn't jump us

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Louisville wont be in the top 4.

Nov 13, 2016, 12:48 AM

OSU might be 2nd.. maybe. You have to remember that this isn't a typical poll. It's possible OSU only jumps Washington and the top 3 stay the same. I'm not sure that will happen, but i wouldn't rule it out. I think Washington slides to 5 or 6 though. Louisville might jump them.. maybe. Louisville's resume isn't great either.
