I seriously see us losing to UGA, FSU and UNC. Can we rebound after a 1-3 start? Inexperianced QB? Weak at WR? Young RBs? Can we overcome all this?

Its Clemson. After Going to Athens and playing a good game to UGA only to fall short in the final minutes, then going to Tallahasse and getting killed 55-7, the mental state of our football team will be very down. If somehow they can rebound, sure we will win that game. But sometimes a team can beat you twice, which is what I'm worried about. Will the loss at Tallahasse be so bad that it will linger another week? If so Clemson could be in trouble. Laugh all you want, but I have followed Clemson for 40 years and it has happened plenty of times.

Teams usually don't struggle to rebound from loss #2. It is usually loss #1 that really hurts. If we do lose to UGA we will spend the rest of the season fighting to prove the media wrong.

Since you already know how we will lose to UGA, and since you already know the score of the FSU game, shouldn't you already know what our record will be at the end of the year?
Can you use your time machine/crystal ball to tell me when we win the Natty Championship? That way, I can bury my head in the sand and only watch that season. Thanks!

I'm thinking more like a 4-0 start. This could actually be a championship caliber team if our defensive secondary can learn to cover and quit habitually blowing assignments. Receivers running free just ain't gonna get us to the top of the mountain.

I unfortunately could see 1-2 though, depending on how well we and Georgia handle replacing key personnel. But you can't ever overestimate the value of having the ACC's studliest defensive line. It's a word; look it up.

I think 2-2 is more like it.
I don't like playing UNC after FSU, but we are better than them, so if we go in with emotion we'll take care of business.
I'm definitely not registering your "weak at WR" comment...our WR unit may be as good as last year's due to our depth, though obviously we won't have the top-end talent of Sammy. The questions are QB & OL, not WR.

Unproven at WR /QB & RB ? Sure . No way would I call us weak. OL/DL and Back 7 will be a strength ..ST is an unknown. I think the Chad will field another offensive masterpiece by the time we head to Athens , and by observation you can see that Venables is a really good DCo. I bet we win all 3 and completely rout the ACC . Tough schedule , yes . I say 10-2 and a better than avg shot at a 15th acc championship.
