I think 200,000+ fans will still be in the Valley even if it is a blizzard. I think it helps UGA if it rains heavy---will slow our speed guys down.

I dont think either team gets an advantage over another if it rains. they both have to play in it just the same. You may have some of the older fans leave as i'm sure they don't want to get sick. but other than that it'll be rocking.

Most of the older fans probably won't be there any way, they want all our games to start a 1:00.

I think it helps our defense and hurts theirs. 1 they are a straight ahead run team so since passing won't be that great load up against the run2 our offense is a misdirection office hard four defenders to make those quick turns to get our backs!

the mvp of the opening game might be the field crew. a wet field is going to most affect rb's and db's. both db squads are outmatched anyway. no advantage to either team. but if gurshall can't cut and the dawg's running game isn't as potent then i'd say the advantage goes to us.
