What a misleading bullet point from the article:

During the first-ever Early Signing Period last week, Clemson and Alabama landed five of the top nine players in the Class of 2018, per 247Sports.

Yeah, that would be FOUR for Clemson to ONE for Bama. Looks like the programs are doing equally well in recruiting the very top players, eh?

If you want to throw that one out as misleading, you need to throw out:

Swinney and Nick Saban have combined to win five of the last eight national championships. If either wins it this season, that will make it six of the last nine.

Makes it seem Dabo has contributed more than one.

illusion that both teams are equal which contradicts the evidence that Clemson is progressing while Bama is regressing.

The only reason you says Bama is regressing and clemson isn't is the expectations of both teams.

Not really, Bama does not look like the same team of the last two years. They certainly aren't as good on the defensive side.

We do not look like the same team either, but it would be a fair argument that we are just as good as we were last year overall due to the defense being more dominant and the improved running game.

Well, I'm an old guy now and an old (looong time) Clemson Tiger. This kind of stuff just blows me away honestly. I dreamed of winning the ACC again, was thrilled when we beat Scar which meant we won three games and they won two for the year. I went in 1977 to our first bowl game in seventeen years. I was so excited when we lured Red Parker away from The Citadel and devastated when Pell left us to go to Florida etc. All I can say is thanks Dabo, you're the man!

Clemson will show Monday an error in his article.

Bama is not in the "middle" of its dynasty, but its END.

That's a dope edit on that picture. That's really all I have to contribute.

Interesting tidbit I didn't know:

Dec 28, 2017, 11:26 AM

"Only once before in the history of the game have teams met in three consecutive postseasons (Ohio State-USC, 1973-75 Rose Bowls). Two legends -- John McKay and Woody Hayes -- squared off in those games. But only once in those three Pasadena meetings was a national championship involved (1973, USC)."
