Natty tickets were $50 in 1982. I remember standing in line early morning at Littlejohn to buy mine. Then I never used it because I went with Packman (Mark Packer). His dad, Billy, gave us tickets complimentary of NBC. They were on the 50 on about the second or third row. We couldn't see a dang thing. Lol

I don't know where you got your inflation numbers from,

Jan 2, 2017, 10:25 PM

but the Federal Reserve has destroyed 98% of our dollar since 1913.

Isn't devaluation of currency, the definition of inflation?***

Capitalism and opportunists happened, Bill. And StubHub. Sometimes I miss the old days.

I got your back LbB. It's a combo of inflation and supply/demand. So you are right as always but the Tiger family has grown!

let's take a look at the economic models. First is supply and demand. No, let's just focus on demand.

My Econ 301 professor explored the reason that a comedian like Bill Cosby makes a thousand times more money than a teacher. While it's certain that a teacher is in position to make the world a better place there are tens of thousands of teacher but only one Bill Cosby.

Tickets are limited to the size of a football stadium which are limited by the ability of the average human eyes to actually watch, and see, a game in person. If a stadium is sold out, economics models say that profits will not be maximized and the price of tickets are too low.
