A lot ppl don't realize how good Ray ray was as a DB. It would be a natural move for him. Some scouts in high school thought his NFL upside was at DB. I wouldn't mind having an adoree jackson on our team. The move earned tj green some money

Hope not.
He does need to add about 20 pounds of muscle or fat...

Why? We have Scott and Powell to play the slot.

Reasons why he should move. 1. Easier to be a 5'9 DB than WR in the league. 2. He would upgrade the position tremendously and would likely be a starter by midseason at either field or nickel. 3. It would allow us to take all the WR we want in the '17 class which is an immeasurable luxury considering the guys we want. 4. DB needs GOOD depth too soon and he could provide it. However, all signs point to him being at WR for the foreseeable future. I think he should move now because of I think Rodgers is a better receiver than him at the "2". Hope he proves me wrong.

To DB while he was here, not sure why we didn't. He was a great DB in highschool as well and was actually recruited as an ATH but he never made that move. Maybe the coaches wanted him to but he didn't and that's why he transferred, not sure. Ray ray moving to DB wouldn't be a bad decision but i still think he will be a great WR, especially if we can find ways to get him the ball in the open field.

No way , this is year #2 in the system for RRMc3 , and I am anxious to see this guy go off . His offensive potential is greatest at this level in my opinion , and he was such a pure playmaker in HS I feel like we will witness a transformed young star be born to Clemson in 2016 .

My opinion is he will be a great WR/RB soon and very soon

He was just beginning to show what he could do when he got hurt. Ray Ray is the real deal, he can be a great WR because of the quickness and speed he has to break ankles.
Don't get me wrong, I would be just as happy if he is a CB.
He has had tremendous coaching his whole life to go with his talent, I believe this will be his breakout year and his timing with Deshaun with an offseason to work on it.
If he would have came early last year it would have been his breakout year.

I often agree with you.
Disagree totally with this.
Guys who have been watching him at Clemson the past year all say pretty much the same thing - there are times he's the best player on the field - at WR - and often takes over practices.
The guys who are telling me this are...pretty smart. And pretty connected.
RRM3 was a 5-star for a reason...and he spent the last half of the season pretty much laid up because of a borderline ligament tear.
There might be a logjam at his position - for this next season - but I'd be surprised if he got moved, especially when the new freshmen CB's like Mullin arrive. We're just that loaded at WR...and honestly, not that desperate at CB.

I was always higher on McCloud as a DB. He always shut down the best WRs consistently in camps.
While I do agree with you that he could become a big time playmaker on offense, his career in football might be best served as a cornerback in the NFL.
