What the heck is he doing taking four official visits?!!!! Dabo and the rest of the coaching staff just may back off of him if he in fact does this! This is far worse than the Feaster situation. I hope he doesn't do Clemson dirty.

You don't back off of five stars, regardless of whether they take visits anywhere. Smith is unfortunately probably our shakiest commit right now - hopefully we can hang on to him.

Big penalty on team if a recruit flips after signing the FAA.

I didn't say we should "back off" of recruiting him...

I am only saying that we shouldn't crucify the kid for taking other official visits.

No one was saying that you said we should back off. Look at the comment above you.

He's taking visits with IMG teammate Shavar Manuel. Stop freaking out, he's coming here. This is big boy recruiting and he has cleared it with the coaches.

Any chance we can snag manuel? I know Kelly is committed but you couldn't turn down a 5 star if he wanted to commit. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Really grateful you aren't in charge of recruiting. Let him enjoy the process. He's going to be in this position in life exactly once. Trust the coaches.

Kids now consider a commitment as a "reservation". Save me this spot. This happens to all schools not just Clemson and you just have to roll with it.
