With the looting, arson, attacks on people, do you see why some people want/need to have a gun on them?

Oops. My bad. I meant to pose the question in a way to ask does the rioting, attacks, arson, etc change the anti-gunners position on having a gun.

A very small group exists that is actually anti-gun. Republicans and Fox News like to paint Dems/Liberals or any others calling for gun control as “anti-gun,” but in reality those people just want reform of the laws, and still support people having guns.

arbitrary and nonsensical. The reality is, that type of person has little to no knowledge of what they're talking about, and fail to understand that there isn't a functional difference between the firearms that we supposedly need to restrict, and the ones that are apparently OK. That kind of ignorance is how you wake up one day and aren't allowed to have any of them.

and people making laws that are uninformed. But the goal isn’t to get rid of guns. You will always be able to have a large selection of guns from which to choose to defend yourself, go hunting, etc. That’s not going to change no matter what Fox or Rush tell you.

Bad bills are proposed and not passed all the time (Green New Deal for example). I’m not sure what your point is. Overreaching bills were proposed. People made their voices heard. The bills didn’t pass. That’s how America works.

I wont trying to make this a gun debate. But, I will point out that the fact PEOPLE are even proposing those kinds of bills show where we are headed. Aint been that many years ago that no one would have even thought about proposing bills like the one in VA.
Probably won't happen in my lifetime though .
