Question for Republicans/Conservatives-
Jun 20, 2020, 6:38 PM
|
|
Warning - warning Completely political post - but it’s on the right board at least...
I consider myself conservative- not Republican per se as I think the party has lost their way...
In all likelihood I will either abstain or vote for Trump.. Despite the fact that I think Trump Is a truly abhorrent person... Amoral at best ... Policy wise he does trend conservative but I don’t believe it’s because he has some moral compass that guides him to do so .. It is only because of political expediency...
Here’s my question(s)..
Anyone else here wish Trump would choose not to run for a 2nd term and the Republicans would put forth a candidate that does have character? I know this is highly unlikely..
Anyone else conceded to the possibility of holding your nose at the ballots and voting for Trump anyways?
Trump doesn’t speak for me at all ... but I’m not a fan of socialism...

I live in the most corrupt Democrat run county in SC. My vote has never mattered locally and never will.

I cringe when trump speaks; although he is quite funny at times. I will vote for trump because he actually carries out conservative policy, when all others just talk a big game. Look at how graham grew a spine in support of trump after he saw the support in SC. Everyone in DC sucks except for a couple (Paul, Jordan), but the rest suck. Trump isn’t a politician, he expects people to work and get results, and DC can’t handle it.

He does not carry out conservative policy.

Quite the opposite, actually. People who claim Trump is a conservative or claim they are conservatives because they support Trump don't really understand that definition.

Lets start with the perpetual Deep State never ending wars.... in spite of the NATO deep state military industrial complex’s false flags across the middle east, the funding of ISIS (Mc Cain’s Militia) and basically the continuation of perpetual wars...Trump beat back the Deep State and stopped the overthrow of Assad in Syria that was planned, he avoided color revolutions across the Middle East which are always CIA initiated. Obama and the Baby Bush did Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Egypt, Libya etc which left millions dead! They wanted to do Syria and N.Korea but Trump stopped it. That alone should garner your #### vote, atleast a thank you for the lives he saved!
Now turn to the deep state, Communist, globalist agenda. Think Hunger Games society in 15 years. He ripped up the “Climate Change” agreement which was a globalist slush fund, he got the US out of the TransPacific partnership which was a corporate takeover of the world which would allow corporations to trump national sovereignty and laws, he got rid of NAFTA for the most part and in place of all that globalist crap he negotiated bi-lateral trade agreements so the US could remain competitive.
Now lets move on to the planned invasion and destruction of the US and Western democracies theough the Soros funded invasion of illegal immigrants. He’s doing what he can do build a #### wall and fighting tooth and nail to enforce border security while still being practical, humane and negotiable on the matter of DACA.
Do I need to address the economy and the gigantic turn that is in now in process to bring back industry and real jobs to the US?
He’s done all of this despite the democratic communists going after him at every turn. Ask yourself why they need him out of power so bad ??? Why??? He is doing exactly what he said he would do. He is draining the #### swamp. Get your head out of your ### and wake up.

Ok .. a few responses.. I’ll respond...
To the individual asking for alternates - I apologize but this seems immediately disingenuous... finding a better man than Trump isn’t difficult...it feels like you want some names - so you can either point out their flaws or tell me they’re are unelectable.. Regardless I’ll play along ... Dan Crenshaw, Paul Ryan, Alan Keyes ...I’d could go on...
To the person that said “You’re a liar”... I have no clue who you’re addressing or what you mean.. I know I’m not lying ...
As far as the list of Trump talking points - I’m an independent thinker - I don’t need talking points from anyone.. But regardless- I already conceded that I prefer the policy choices he’s made to what we’d get from a democrat... so I’m not sure why you felt your angry rant was necessary...
As far as - the insinuation that the president doesn’t matter - I’ll respectfully disagree and say it absolutely matters - can you imagine the policies that would be set with a Democrat controlled congress and a democrat president?

Thank you Q. So when are you going to get rid of the child-sex ring in Washington?
And can I get some of what you're smoking? Seems to be jarring.

Is Trump not exactly the same man we elected in 2016?

I don't get you guys. Trump is a loudmouf NY yankee who will tell you to go eff yourself in a NY minute. That is exactly who he was during his 2016 campaign. Did you think the fairy godmother would wave a magic wand and turn him into a princess during the inauguration?
Why, all of a sudden, you awake and are stricken with the epiphany that Trump is a bad man or not fit to serve as POTUS strikes me as you trying to insulate yourself from criticism for being a Trump supporter.
Nutup or vote for Biden.

My opinion hasn’t changed of Trump- I thought the same thing in 2016...but as I initially stated I’m not a big fan of socialism.. Hillary Clinton is undoubtedly a socialist..
I’m not even talking about him being abrasive as a personality - that’s not a big deal...
He is the lesser of evils - but I believe this country has better leaders...It’s unfortunate to be left to choose between Biden and Trump - neither are the best this country has to offer..

Who?

Which politician would you choose over Trump? Which politician would not sell the US out to China or the highest bidder? Which one would have had the balls to force NATO member to pay their fair share? Which one would pull thousands of troops from Germany to make his point that Germans have to pay for the protection they enjoy?
Which politician would have told Mexico if they don't stop the caravans unloading millions of illegals at our southern border that he would tariff them?
Which politician would you choose to replace Trump on the ticket? Whichever you choose just remember this. You are choosing a politician after choosing Trump because he wasn't and isn't a politician. If that wasn't the reason your chose Trump in 2016 then your mistake happened in 2016. You didn't know who you were voting for.

I am of the opinion that Trump is one of the VERY few humans on the planet that can keep this country from absolute demise. For the record, a Soros world is the demise.
In a perfect world, I would have a politically clean, constitutionalists, that was just as hungry to lead to the future as they were to clean up and protect our history. The conservatives are being attacked with the history and the future... but if we stay the course- we will win.

But it's not happening. I would love to be able to vote for a conservative Republican for President. I hope I will get a chance to do so in the future.

but it ain't gonna happen at this point.
I refuse to vote for the man. I will likely vote for Biden, which would be the first time voting for a Dem in anything other than a local election.

Switching at this point would be even more disastrous for them. I would imagine the powers that be in the GOP know they're just going to have to eat this bullet for the next four years and hope to bounce back in Congress in 2022 and take out Biden in his re-election bid. Or Biden's VP as I don't see the man finishing a term.

Maybe Biden can land you a job with a Ukrainian energy producer. Tell him you're his cousin, he's nearly brain dead so he won't know the difference.
