Question, do any of you know how Scott Pagano done this

Dec 13, 2017, 3:06 PM

season, and would have our D been better with him, and would he have been better off if he would have stayed at Clemson?

Unquestionably our D would have been better with him here..... as crazy as it sounds. He might have started..... he would have been high quality depth at the very least. Pagan didn’t get pushed around.... he did the pushing around.

I liked him a lot, but as you know some, not many had a different opinion of him. I don't think that I've ever witnessed him getting pushed around.

And who do you see him starting over? No way he starts over anyone we had, we could've used the depth but I see no way he starts over anyone on our line.

Scott was good at stuffing the short yardage runs, not all that great at sacks and tackles for loss. I'd say he would have been #5 on our D-line. I too wondered about him. College Football Reference says he's had 1 solo tackle this year, 3 assists, for a total of 4. Shoot, some of this year's Tigers would sometimes do that in 1 half. Scott might have sustained some injuries.

I found something that said he had 4 tackles (1 solo) in 7 games.

Between that and the berth in the 2017 Las Vegas Bowl, I'd say this was a pretty bad move.

He's had injury issues.

Close to those same thoughts will be with for the rest of his life. I feel little bad for him but, when you make your own bed, you need to remember that you're the one sleeping in it!!!

Good luck Scott . You rocked as a Tiger.
Congrats on your degree and wish you well in tryouts.
Good effort and play at Clemson PLUS a degree = ALWAYS A TIGER!

He battled nagging injuries and had a really underwhelming year, maybe even the worst of his college football career. It's a shame because he would've been a big part of our DT rotation.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.
