QB play is 5th on level of importance this week: Focus!!!

We don't need no stinkin distractions. Syracuse comes to Death Valley this week...... and it's time to FOCUS!!
#1 - D'line Needs to get constant pressure to harass and throw off Eric Dungy's timing. He's thrown 9 TD's to only 1 INT. But get this, only been sacked 3 times. They're getting the ball out quick, so that brings me to the next group...
#2 - Secondary. The case could be made that this group should be ranked first. However, BV's style is to harass the QB with D line and linebackers with lots of diff Blitz packages. He wants to make the Qb second guess decisions and get punished to the point they don't even want to come out on the field. So, they get the nod. However, great coverage over the first 10-15 yards will make him stay in the pocket longer and give the front 7 time to get to him. The Corners are going to have to extremely play well and safeties will be tested as well. Muse and Simmons will have the work cut out for them.
#3 - Offensive line. Last year, we could have won the Syracuse game if we 1) controlled the clock and just stuck to running the ball. The lanes were there but we tried to many shots down the field. If the O'line can continue to improve their blocking on run calls, this will go a long way. The O Line needs to just get nasty and pave some lanes and flat out get after their D Line!!
#4 - Running Backs. If we're averaging 7-8 yards a carry on the ground with ET, TF & AC, then we need to run, run & run some more! Again, control the clock, wear out the defense, get to 80 plays. I'd love to see ET get 15-18 carries, TF get 10-12 and AC get 8-10.
#5 - QB's. For some reason, I don't see Dino loading the box and forcing the run. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think this is going to be a game where we throw it 40 times.
