Put yer FBC platform improvement suggestions IIT

I think I would immediately replace the furniture with those old aluminum lounge chairs. You know, the ones with woven nylon?
That and an A/C window unit would really spice the place up. Face that puppy outward and enjoy the cool breeze.

Why would you want to replace those white plastic Big Lots chairs with aluminum? The really cool thing about these plastic lounge chairs is that they get brittle in the sun/heat really quickly and will break in half and stab your kids in the stomach, which lets you know you need to buy new furniture. It's a really good feature, honestly, and is underlooked.
I don't like the idea of using alumninum because of the tetanus factor when the hollow aluminum ultimately bends and folds and presents razor-sharp edges takes several years to achieve.

I would also try and cram as much more on the patio as would fit. you don't really want to walk on this thing as much as you just want to put stuff on it to keep it from getting muddy.

Surprisingly has lasted the elements.
Only use the charcoal side, but it also has gas and infared or whatever.

When I'm grilling, I like people being all up in my shit and as CLOSE to me as possible. This allows me to establish dominance by turning around quickly and stabbing my enemies with my 3 foot long serrated spatula.

When my brother bought his house, the deck had dark stain
May 5, 2020, 6:45 AM

This was an actual nice deck, but the dark stain, made the treated wood soak up sooo much heat that they boards warped, and went to shjt. Also, it was so hot that you couldn't walk on it bare footed.
I can't imagine how hot that plywood is going to get. You'll be hosing it down ever few minutes, which will only exacerbate your rot issue.

Water is running off it like water off a duck's back.. for now.
Closed in the ends with decking board I had left over. Looks 10x better now.
Bistro lights or whatever you call them are coming in.
Plan on replacing the old yard light that doesn't work with a security light on a switch so the kids can play in the yard when it's dark.
Not 100% sure about painting it yet.
Wife of now wants a firepit.
I suggested a burn barrel but that didn't go over well.
So suggestions for cheap fire pits that are elevated above the deck so it doesn't burn it down would be great.
