Pundits?

Why do we care what pundits say about our players? Drafting players out of college is so subjective, which explains vastly different grades for prospects. It doesn't matter where you get drafted, it matters how well you play once in the NFL. Guys like McShay and Kiper are paid to have opinions, and they can't like everyone. I don't understand being "offended" by what the pundits say or think. I don't care if McShay thinks Beasley won't be good against the run, what matters is what Vic does in the NFL. Either he is able to succeed or he isn't. What his pre-draft valuations were doesn't matter once drafted. He will only be measured against his #8 slot in the draft. Much like Stephone Anthony, who many considered a second round pick. He will be judged as a first rounder and will need to produce like one.

In some ways it does matter when you are drafted. In Vic's case, seven million reasons! Wonder if all those guys on espn combined will make that kind of money nest year?
