Wants to play big boy ball, they need to get in an actual conference that has power 5 teams in it. Otherwise, they can be Little league “national champs” all they want...

I said the same thing about Boise State when they started their whining. They had a chance to join the Big 12 but stayed in the Mountain West. OTOH, the Big 12 says that Boise State was lowered in their consideration because of academic reputation so B12 began pursuing BYU and Colorado State.

You know how full of crap that statement was from the Big 12. Seeing as they took WVA. The Big 12 didn't vote Boise State in because they were afraid. The same reason the SECheat decided on a Texas and Missouri teams to join over teams from the South East like Clemson and FSU.
