Proud to see Clemson well represented at Franklin’s BBQ in Austin today

For those who don’t know, Franklin’s is a know for having outstanding brisket- and other smoked meats. I waited longer than I care to admit, but it was worth.

Most of all, I was glad to see all those Clemson shirts and hats.

I heard all of their products were outstanding. If you have ever seen him on the cooking shows, you would think he was a computer geek or professor or something. Certainly not a BBQ king.

Truths BBQ in Brenham, TX is another good one. It's about 45 minutes from College Station. The pit master is in the finals on Chopped.

I have always wanted to go there. I am the type that will drive 4 hours out of my way for great BBQ. I haven't had any here in South Fla that was that great compared to NC or someplace great. How did you like it at Franklin's?
