Its preseason.. its not just players getting practice reps in.

It was a bad call and that ref would be fined on Monday of this were regular season.

Football's success stems in large part from the aggressiveness and violence of the game. And that was a very clean hit and B.S. call.

Yep, they don't believe that the game of FB should be fun. That was a perfect description of an arm tackle with the tackler landing on the ground beside the guy being tackled with no harm meant to cause any type of injury. Ref should have been sent to their locker room, and turn in his ref uniform bc he wouldn't be needing it any more!!!

It was not helmet to helmet. He did not lower his head, led with the shoulder. Did not drive him into the ground and got off of him as soon as the tackle was over

I happened to hear a guy call in on a national program over the weekend who said he officiated in the NFL for 17 years and said that the call was ridiculous but that is where the league is headed. He also said that 3 of his buddies who are still officiating in the NFL which between them have 47 years of officiating are retiring at the end of the year because they do not like the way these new rules are being implemented.
