It amazes me how some fans think only a NC and undefeated season is positive. Have we forgot what its like to lose to ACC cellar dwellers. Dabo will take us higher and do it with class. Not sayin there hasnt been a couple missteps but if we reviewed our own work performace over the last five years we would fing the same.

love the thrilling wins over UGA, LSU, VTX3, AuburnX2, and even that great win over FSU in 2011.

We are just now getting Chad and Coach V s recruits.. We are playing more top 15 teams now than ever before. We are getting it done but had fallen further than most want to admit.

I'll admit it...2010 was a very low point, losing a bowl game to USF after having just won the division, beaten FSU and almost won the ACC championship game in 2009. We had fallen pretty far in 2010 which eventually resulted in both coordinators being dismissed. Chad and BV are here because of 2010 and the last Orange Bowl loss (Steele).

I have never,repeat never even spoken of undefeated NC
seasons as the benchmark.
In fact I have been labeled a coot because I think going undefeated and winning the NC is something only a few teams can accompolish,and right now Clemson isn't one of them.
However,losing to the coots by double digits each of the last five years,getting embarrassed in our only BCS Bowl
(The 2012 Orange),losing the last two games to FSU,and possibly seeing them hoist the Sears Trophy as the nations best says we may have turned the corner,nothing more,nothing less.
Start winning the big games needed to compete for that NC,then I will say we are headed in the right direction.

Add Louisville or VT to the already known possible losses/tough games that will exist with UGA, the Coots, and FSU. VT is on the road, so I am more inclined to add them as the fourth team to "worry" about, but I'll wait and see how things are going. No more Clemsoning or whatever with the rest of the schedule. We are superior to the rest of the teams.

We don't play VT next year. Our road conference games are WF, BC, GT, and FSU.

future ACC schedules. I'll stick with Louisville then as the fourth possible tough game. I'll wait and see what they look like without Bridgewater.
