Probably unpopular question: Would a split CLEM—SON chant sound better than a CLEMSON——TIGERS

Listening to the “Clemson”——“Tigers” chant on TV reminds me of how I never thought the chant sounded as intimidating as I wished it did. I always thought single syllables sounded best in unison (why C-L-E-M-S-O——N is my favorite clemson cheer)

Has anyone that’s been aroung longer than my 3 short decades recall how long the Clemson—Tigers split cheer has been around, and whether they have any old cheers they wished were resurrected that just made Death Valley sound surreal?
