Maxwell Suffers Torn ACL

Clemson red-shirt freshman defensive back Byron Maxwell suffered a torn ACL of his right knee earlier this week. His status for the beginning of the 2007 season is unknown at this time. Full Story »

when he wasn't looking, parity came up from behind and got him. Bowden should have been spotting him.

Seriously though, let's hope for a speed recovery, second ACL tears can be really difficult. Good luck Byron we're pullin for ya.

He should be alright by the start of the season. 4 Months is probably what he's looking at.

Probably not start, word was he was having trouble getting

up to full speed after his last torn acl. But, I'd say he'd deffinetely be in the three deep had this not happened. Hopefully he'll have a good recovery.

Maxwell is a good kid. you have to wonder when you start thinking that the knees are just not up to par. Sooner or later you have to think about quality of life and being a cripple if you have one more injury.
