Hate to tell the coots they are not going to the SEC championship.

Or the sugar bowl. I think Uga can beat Auburn or Mizzou can definitely beat Johnny Football. Either way still the red headed stepchild of the SEC

We don't want to win the East. This scenario will work out only if Ga or Missou goes to the SECCG and loses, which is likely. We'll be the second ighest ranked SEC team. We just need to win out at home. Very doable.

Why would you NOT want to play for your league championship?

That's the craziest thing I've ever heard. Do you think you are so inferior to Bama/Auburn/LSU that you will have no chance at all to win the conference, and would be better off backing your way into an at-large berth??

Do they not take selection order into account when making these predictions? Orange bowl has first at large pick this year. There's no way they pick UCF with it.

PTigers - isn't the guy predicting SCAR doesn't go to SECCG?

He's got Bama in NC game so whoever goes from East will have an additional loss. That would mean a 3 or 4 loss SC team and I don't think the Sugar would want a team with that many losses. So I think he's predicting Mizzou to play in SECCG and lose to Bama, then SCAR to go 10-2 and get Sugar invite. It may work to SCAR's advantage to not win the East.

FSU? To have that kind of season, finish outside the Championship bubble and get rewarded with UCF? Yikes.

Yes, all the bowl projections with Clemson in the Chick Fil A are thinking USC beats Clemson to be the highest ranked SEC team after Mizzou or UGA go to the Champ game and lose to Bama
I can see where some USC fans would rather just take a win over Clemson and get to a BCS bowl without having to play Bama. They know the team isn't as strong as in the recent past where D kept them in games and probably couldn't beat Bama.
think FSU in the other side and having to play them again. It could be ugly simply because while Clemson's D is better, they are not quite ready for FSU. Now hard charges say no we want them again, while more restrained fans say hey, let Miami or another other division opponent face them again in the ACC champ game and let Clemson beat USC and Go to the Sugar Bowl
Now that I think about it, the USC Clemson game (Palmetto Bowl) could be a nationally televised night game with 2 top 10 teams and the winner going to the Sugar Bowl
