How did your neighborhood vote in 1st District race?

Interesting article and map showing how each precinct voted in the recent election between Katie Arrington and Joe Cunningham. Some surprising stuff. I did not realize Cunningham had less than a 9% chance of winning the election going into it. He's the first Democrat to represent the coastal congressional district since the 70s. 40 years!

Arrington in office would have cut off a reelection bid.


Whether he actively worked for Cunningham or just stood by and watched Arrington drown is up for debate. Either way, its a win for Sanford's future.

candidates that McSally had to beat down for the Senate race, specifically Kelly Ward. Her whole outlook was Trump likes me best, so you should vote for me. Not that it mattered in the end, but luckily for McSally it was a statewide race, so she didn't have to really pander to the nut jobs in Kingman and the like...she could spend money on ads and maintain a somewhat dignified presence.
