We still won Danny's 5th and last ACC championship that year. We can't let FSU and the ACC knock us off our perch this year.

I'd relocated to the mid-west and was defending my title at a golf tournament that day. We played in a pouring rain and finished 2nd, but I won enough on side bets to ease the pain of bogeying a 200 yard finishing par 3.
I thought we'd won the game twice, once on the near interception just before the punt and then when I got faked out. I jumped up and high 5've the ceiling. When I came down, I saw the FSU up back bolting down the field.

when the punt snap "went sailing". I was like everyone......distraught when we realized Leroy Butler was gone. The only answer for revenge was to drive to Tallahassee the next year, where we DESTROYED THEM on their home field. That helped me forget the litle trick play that they pulled.
