..... FSU will announce the change of their mascot.
(Too late to change it for August. Too expensive to make the changes, unless Nike wants to foot the bill.)
Note: This is my kneejerk reaction to the thread about the Redskins changing their mascot. I have heard absolutely nothing from any "reliable source" saying it will occur this soon.
But, things are moving at the speed of Etienne in the open field. Three months ago if I had told you a football coach would lose $1,000,000 in salary because of a t-shirt he wore while fishing with his kids you would have told me I was crazy.

The Seminole tribe has come to their defense before. They are proud to be associated with a championship winning football program.
FSU worked closely with the tribe when they created Osceola’s entrance onto the field.

Seminole nation has roundly rejected the FSU name change , they've done this more than once .
FSU shows great care and respect in honoring traditions and advertising that the Seminole NA's never surrendered , thus " UNCONQUERED " .
I think your mascot is safe .
