Asking for prayers for a family we are friends with.

They have Clemson ties, but one of their kids ended up at SC. He passed away Friday at age 23, Very tragic. Please lift this family up in you thoughts and prayers. It has to be so difficult to lose a kid at such a young age. I lost my nephew at age 24. Losing someone so close is very emotional and painful. It has been 4 years since I lost my nephew but there are days which are still difficult. It’s even more difficult for my sister and her husband. This family like my family are very close. He was a SC student so it should be announced very soon in the student news paper.
It’s tragic occurrences like this that put life into perspective. For example at the end of the day the Clemson-Carolina game is just a football game. Win or lose it is not a matter of life or death. Many fans need to realize this. Instead of throwing water bottles cheer on your team. Instead of fighting realize it’s just a game.
Please both Clemson and SC fans remember to keep life in perspective and realize it is just a football game.

Amen! I just can’t imagine what I would do if so lost one of my kids. The are 28 & 25 but to me they are still kids.
