My leg started hurting the other day. I hought I had pulled a groin muscle. The pain slowly moved down my leg. I finally went to E R. I have DVT and have been getting treated for it. Still in hospital. TIA

Stay positive! For the uninformed like me, DVT is Deep Vein Thrombosis - a blood clot, usually in the leg.

Are you taking xarelto? Most hematologists recommend that. It’s good that you were wise enough to seek medical help quickly. The doctors will be able to keep this out of your lungs where it could be an even bigger problem. Sounds l8ke you have good help. Thinking of you

Thanks. They had me on Heparin for 2 days. On Eloquis morning and night right now. They have been monitoring me for any clots that may move. They said my leg was full of clots from top to bottom. Lot of pain in that leg.

I know the pain you went through. Worse pain ever. Had a clot several months ago.

A church friend just went through this a month ago. He had lots of prayers, good doctors, and a sweet wife who made sure he listened to those doctors. He made it upstairs to Sunday school this week so we feel like he's had a good recovery. Praying for the same outcome for you.
