Prayer request-One of my sister warrior princesses has just

found out she has a brain tumor. Absolutely NO symptoms til she had a seizure. Doc says surgery, no option. We're in Clemson. Does anyone have advice, good or bad, on any brain surgeons? This is so scary that you don't want to have just anyone do it. Any info would be appreciated as well as prayers for her. They've told her she won't be driving or much of anything else for six months even before surgery.

Took on brain cancer and won! I think he had his surgery in Houston? I want to say that maybe Iptay's George Bennett was treated at the same hospital and same time.

unless it's an emergency situation,checking with MUSC,Duke,Vanderbuilt,or maybe Emory(not too familiar with the Atlanta area medical centers) is an excellent idea.getting a 2nd or third opinion will most likely result in the best choice.this isn't the time to rely on bob's local clinic.

My cousin had brain surgery at Wake Forrest medical center and has done remarkably well after. His surgery was 4 or 5 years ago. His brother in-law is a surgeon in the Raleigh area and advised him about Wake Forrest.

surgery. MRI may show whether it's an emergency or not, but I have a feeling it'll need to be soon.

I know it's not the same, but my grandpa has Parkinson's and he went to see doctors in Charleston as recommended from another friend who had the surgery. It is a brain surgery, but I'm not sure if they are any kind of related. Prayers going up, God Bless

If the doctor that she has consulted with tries to tell her that you don't have time, or that you don't need a second opinion, don't go back to that person.
