the human side of me is dreading it. I am a little more anxious than normal even though it is an outpatient procedure

When facing my own battle a number of years ago, I read (and I'm paraphrasing) that faith is not the absence of fear, rather it is how we deal with our fear. You have placed your faith in God. There are no "buts" that overshadow that! Praying for you!

Life is hard, trusting in God makes it easier only if you appreciate that no matter what cards you're dealt He will be with you until the end and the pot will become yours. There's nothing wrong with your hand trembling from the cards you hold or your arm shaking as you lay them on the table if you remember that you'll walk away with that certain treasure.

Thank you to everyone for all of your prayers. The surgery went well, but I did not expect the intense pain during the night. I feel much better today. I am craving a bacon cheese burger but it looks like I will be eating soup and ice cream at least through the weekend.
It's great to be a part of the best college family ; CLEMSON!
