I was against starting Johnson in this huge game. Cora is a big time baseball man. Sox will easily win 100+ games.

Pearce had hit three homers in six innings

The Pearce and Kinsler moves are looking BRILLIANT right now!

And they didn’t have to give up much to get them.

I always find it interesting how many Red Sox fans there are around nowadays. The upstate is littered with them. I'm assuming it's a band wagon(lebron-cavs) thing. I've always hated the Yankees and Red Sox as they seem to be pushed down your throat by every network.

I miss the Expos, great uniforms and an awesome stadium. Miss watching a Braves/expos game on TBS with 5k in the stands and outfielders blowing out knees every night.

Yep. I’ve been a bandwagon fan since 1950. Back in those days they weren’t forced down anyone’s throat. But the Yankees and Dodgers were! The Yankees were on CBS every week. Sort of like the Redskins!

I jumped on the bandwagon back in the '70s when local

I remember well. He chose the Red Sox over being a running back for the Tigers. Probably a good decision on his part.
Great athlete and super guy from Anderson.

I became a Red Sox fan after they traded for Pedro Martinez...

Aug 2, 2018, 11:27 PM [ in reply to Re: Red Sox working on an 8-spot against the Yanks!!! ]

From the Expos. I just thought that much of Pedro.

I’m sorry for the loss of your team. But, man, y’all sure did export some good talent.

Might have something to do with long time owner of the Sox being a South Carolina man, Tom Yawkey of Andrews SC

Wrong, 8 runs on Holder who is basically a high school pitcher

Aug 2, 2018, 10:56 PM

otherwise it would have been a diffeeent outcome. Yanks have no pitching at the moment so Sox will distance themselves. They are playing over their heads and Betts is out of his mind good this year.

Should be exciting playoffs again this year. Love playoff baseball. October football and baseball, BEST TIME IF THE YEAR ????
