Nice spin Dabo but I bet LSU does not feel like the Chik Fil A is a BCS type bowl.
This will only be a good matchup as long as Tigers don't embarrass themselves. Chance of some redemption to offer evidence that Clemson can play competitively against a good SEC team. Certainly a good game against LSU not necessarily a victory would take a little edge off the poor showing across the board against South Carolina. And both a plus for ACC football and recruiting.
LSU has a top rated defense in the country, not so with Clemson. So there is the glaring comparison. And after all one would think BV and Tiger D would be motivated to redeem themselves.

and having such a lopsided TOP stunk, but I don't think we were embarrased by USuC by any stretch of the imagination. Their coaches were ecstatic when they got that final TD, beacuse they knew it was up in the air to that point. We lost, get over it and let's play the next game, recruit some more and keep our positive trend.

Poor showing is an understatement. You saw a different game than I did. And I will say it again. Clemson D ended the regular season same as it started, it was terrible!

The D might not have played great, but they gave the ball to the offense 3 times with a chance to extend the lead or regain the lead. Twice in the last 2 minutes of the first half and once after the interception in the end zone.

totally agree tiger8693, we can play with the vaunted sec teams. even with our depleted defense.....think about it, we lost 3 nfl players off last years d. Venebales has done a fantastic job of putting a bandaid on a broken arm with the players he had this year. We will get it on track, IMO the future looks bright

I know its awful to lose to SC.. but we lost to two teamss that are ranked in the top 12 in the country.. we didnt lose to Wake or Vandy or even ole Miss... id take 10 each year and play LSU type competition in the bowl.. once in a while we might even win the NC>.. last time we even had a chance was long ago.. i hate losing but we ran against a better team this year... maybe not forever.. keep it up Dabo..

Dabo sounds like he trying to downplay the importance of this game. If we get slaughtered again this year in the bowl game all respect for our football program will be gone and hopefully Dabo will be gone with it.
