Nobody complains about being an elite team but everyone complains about what it takes to get there. The simple fact is that increased viewership brings in more money and there is less completion for viewers on a Friday night. Likewise, everyone complains about increased costs for football. Where do you think the money for the new football facility is coming from? Sure it isn't ideal for the fans but would you rather go back to the Bowden days of terrible facilities and a terrible product on the field to go with it?

question is will it take hold - if so, count on more marquee type matchups. I'm betting it will to be honest. Only the consumer can stop it - by not viewing. ain't gonna happen.
