It's pretty ridiculous that Clemson leadership is attempting to predetermine what thought is allowed and disallowed before students run for office. In my opinion, college is an opportunity to learn from people of all walks of life and ideologies. This is a slippery slope and I would hate for it to hit Clemson like it has so many other major universities nationwide. TIA!

READ THE OFFICIAL CLEMSON STATEMENT ON THIS ISSUE. YOU ARE MISINFORMED.
"In simplest terms, Clemson’s work around inclusion and diversity is not designed to impose a particular set of beliefs on students or employees. The opposite is true, in fact. The university’s goal is not to tell people what to think, but rather to help provide the tools to allow them to think for themselves."
