Ahhhh... the ole dreaded “who have they played” excuse. I would tell you, up until now, Bama has not played anyone more than we have. LSU’s Texas and Florida wins look mediocre. Not sure what folks see in Florida. OSU has a marginally better record in terms of competition, but even that is a bit overrated when you break it down.

But I get it. I too am concerned we haven’t been tested enough.

Well Bama has played somebody now. We havent. We know who Bama is to an extent. They will play Auburn too. There are measures for us to learn how good these teams likely are. There is no telling how good our D is. We havent played anyone. We won't know what we have exactly until the playoff.

True. We don’t know how we will respond to a tough, smash mouth game. UNC was as close as we have gotten, although Louisville was hitting hard. I was impressed with their team in first 1.5 quarters... then we wore them out.

It will be nice to have 2 solid ACC opponents a year again. Who will step up?

I believe in our offense completely. I know we have the best coached D in the country. I just am not 100% sold on our D line until I see it when we play either LSU or Ohio State in the playoff. It seems to be getting better and better though. We do seem vulnerable to giving up some long runs to a balanced talented offense though. The good news os we will be there in the playoff to find out.
