Player (Lineman) that injured a higher profile player ?

I apologize for this being so vague, perhaps some of you know this:

I recall reading a story about how one of our lineman had injured a higher profile player from another team this past season.

I thought that it was Gage Cervenka, but after spending 20-30 minutes searching, I can't seem to find the article. I remember that it was a white kid, and that he had some sort of collar or neck padding that I wasn't used to seeing.

Are you referring to a hit that would have drawn a flag?

Otherwise it wasn't really noteworthy. Even 'higher profile' guys get hurt all the time in the course of playing the game.

Especially in the SEC. ??
